December 11, 2017 - The Board of Directors of Shaw Development has named Lane Morlock as the company’s new president, chief executive officer and member of the Board of Directors. Morlock succeeds Kevin Hawkesworth, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Morlock was formerly the company’s chief operating officer and joined Shaw Development five years ago. He has 30 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, including management roles with Raytheon, Ford and General Motors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from South Dakota State University and pursued graduate studies in business at Seattle University and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

“Lane is a seasoned industry leader and his broad experience with Fortune 500 manufacturers will serve the company well,” said Chairman of the Board James Culkar. “We look forward to the continued growth and success of Shaw Development and serving our customers with excellence. The Board is appreciative of the contributions made by Kevin during his tenure with the company.” 


November 6, 2017 - At Shaw Development and Dixon Pumps, we pride ourselves in providing a high level of service to our customers. This means that in addition to supplying premium fluid handling solutions, we go the added step in demonstrating how to get the most out of these products.  On November 2nd, 2017, we hosted the second Technology Expo of the year at our Bonita Springs, FL facility. About 25 fluid handling professionals attended the event to get hands-on experience with our wide range of products.

Attendees were provided hands on demonstrations of the Shaw Dixon and Parker line of products, featuring transfer pumps, filtration products, tank cleaning systems, closed loop and autonomous high flow refueling products. Facility tours were also provided so the attendees could see Shaw Development products being produced as well as being tested and validated in the state of the art test lab.

These types of events are a great opportunity for our customers to learn more about products they may not be familiar with and investigate how they can benefit their own operations. We also get to learn more about our customers and obtain first-hand knowledge of their end user requirements and how Shaw can partner to design the best products possible.
